Cossombrato is a comune, or municipality, located in the Province of Asti within the Piedmont region of northern Italy. It is situated approximately 12 kilometres (7 mi) northwest of the city of Asti and about 35 kilometres (22 mi) east of Turin.
As of December 31, 2004, the municipality covered an area of 5.3 square kilometres (2.0 mi2) with a recorded population of 493 residents.
