Cossato is a municipality located in the province of Biella in the northwest region of Piedmont, Italy. It is situated approximately 11.6 kilometres (7.2 mi) east of the city of Biella.
The town covers an area of 27.73 km2 (10.71 sq mi) and has a population of about 13,860 residents. Due to its size and demographics, Cossato is recognized as the second largest town within the Province of Biella.
