Cocconato is a comune, or municipality, located in the Province of Asti within the Piedmont region of Italy. The town is situated approximately 25 kilometres east of Turin and about 25 kilometres northwest of Asti.
The village is recognized as one of the "Borghi più belli d'Italia," a designation highlighting its status as one of the most beautiful villages in the country.
