Carema is a comune, or municipality, situated in the Italian region of Piedmont. It is located within the Metropolitan City of Turin, positioned approximately 60 kilometres (37 miles) north of the city of Turin.
The town serves as a local administrative center within its district. As a municipality in the Piedmont region, it maintains its own distinct local governance while remaining part of the larger metropolitan framework of Turin.
