Montenero di Bisaccia is a small hilltop town and comune located in the Province of Campobasso within the Molise region of Italy. It is situated approximately 10 kilometres inland from the coast and lies about 45 kilometres north of the city of Campobasso. The nearest major airport and large town to the municipality is Pescara.
The town borders several neighboring municipalities, including Cupello, Guglionesi, Lentella, Mafalda, Montecilfone, Palata, Petacciato, San Felice del Molise, San Salvo, and Tavenna.
