Jelsi is a comune, or municipality, located in the Province of Campobasso within the Molise region of Italy. It is situated approximately 12 kilometres, or about 7 miles, southeast of the provincial capital, Campobasso.
As a local administrative division, Jelsi serves as a residential and municipal hub within the southeastern portion of the province. The area is characterized by its proximity to the regional center of Campobasso in the interior of the Molise region.
