Frosolone is a comune (municipality) located in the Province of Isernia within the Italian region of Molise. Geographically, it is situated approximately 20 kilometres (12 mi) west of Campobasso and about 20 kilometres (12 mi) east of Isernia.
The town is recognized as one of the "Borghi più belli d'Italia" (the most beautiful villages in Italy). Historically, Frosolone is known for its production of blades, specifically knives and scissors. The municipality maintains a museum dedicated to this traditional craft.
