Saltara is a frazione located within the comune of Colli al Metauro in the province of Pesaro e Urbino, situated in the Marche region of central Italy. The settlement is positioned on a hill rising 120 metres (390 ft) above the lower Metauro valley.
Historically, Saltara functioned as an independent comune until it was merged into Colli al Metauro on 1 January 2017.
