Porto Recanati is a town located in the province of Macerata within the Marche region of Central Italy. It serves as a coastal settlement situated along the Adriatic Sea.
The town was officially established as an independent municipality on January 15, 1893. This independence was granted by a decree issued by King Umberto I, which separated the coastal hamlets from the neighboring town of Recanati.
