Petriano is a comune, or municipality, located in the Marche region of central Italy. It is situated within the Province of Pesaro e Urbino, approximately 70 kilometres northwest of Ancona and about 20 kilometres southwest of Pesaro.
As of December 31, 2004, the municipality covered an area of 11.3 square kilometres and had a recorded population of 2,659 residents.
