Montemonaco is a town and comune (municipality) situated in the Marche region of Italy. It is located approximately 150 kilometres (93 mi) north-east of Rome.
The municipality is positioned within the Sibillini Mountains along the Aso valley, specifically on a plateau that faces Mount Zampa and Mount Sibilla. The surrounding area includes landmarks such as Mount Vector and Pilatus Lake.
