Montelupone is a comune, or municipality, situated in the Province of Macerata within the Marche region of central Italy. It is located approximately 30 kilometres (19 mi) south of the coastal city of Ancona and about 11 kilometres (7 mi) northeast of the provincial capital, Macerata.
The town serves as a local administrative center in the Marche region. Its geographical position places it within the interior landscape of the province, situated between the major urban hubs of the surrounding area.
