Montelparo is a comune, or municipality, located in the Marche region of central Italy. It is situated within the Province of Fermo at a distance of approximately 75 kilometres south of Ancona and about 30 kilometres north of Ascoli Piceno.
The municipality covers an area of 21.6 square kilometres. As of December 31, 2004, Montelparo had a recorded population of 929 residents.
