Montefortino is a comune, or municipality, located in the Province of Fermo within the Marche region of central Italy. It is situated approximately 80 kilometres south of Ancona and lies roughly 35 kilometres northwest of Ascoli Piceno.
The town is positioned about 45 kilometres west of the provincial capital, Fermo. It serves as a local administrative center within its specific geographical district in the Marche region.
