Montalto delle Marche is a comune and former Latin Catholic bishopric located in the Province of Ascoli Piceno within the Marche region of Italy. It is situated in a hilly area extending from the Adriatic coast toward the Sibillini Mountains, positioned approximately 70 kilometres south of Ancona and 15 kilometres north of Ascoli Piceno.
The municipality covers a total territory of 34 km2 and has a population of 1,991 inhabitants. It serves as a rural settlement characterized by its location in the inland highlands between the coast and the mountain range.
