Monsampietro Morico is a comune located in the Province of Fermo within the Marche region of Italy. The municipality is situated approximately 70 kilometres south of Ancona, 35 kilometres north of Ascoli Piceno, and 20 kilometres from the city of Fermo.
The settlement was founded in 1061 as a castle established by a Norman count from Apulia. Historically, it served as part of the de Varano seigniory and was held within the lands of Carlo Malatesta between 1415 and 1416. The town is notable for housing a Romanesque church dedicated to St. Paul, which dates back to the 13th century.
