Lapedona is a comune, or municipality, located in the Province of Fermo within the Marche region of central Italy. It is situated approximately 60 kilometres southeast of Ancona and about 35 kilometres northeast of Ascoli Piceno.
As of December 31, 2004, the municipality encompassed an area of 14.8 square kilometres and had a recorded population of 1,157 residents.
