Folignano is a comune located in the Province of Ascoli Piceno within the Marche region of central Italy. It is situated approximately 6 kilometres southeast of Ascoli Piceno and about 90 kilometres south of Ancona.
As of December 31, 2004, the municipality encompassed an area of 14.8 square kilometres with a recorded population of 9,214 residents.
