Cossignano is a comune located in the Province of Ascoli Piceno within the Marche region of central Italy. It is situated approximately 70 kilometres south of Ancona and about 15 kilometres northeast of the city of Ascoli Piceno.
As of December 31, 2004, the municipality encompassed an area of 15.1 square kilometres and had a recorded population of 1,029 residents.
