Comunanza

Comunanza is a municipality located in the Marche region of central Italy. It is characterized as a medieval village situated at the base of the Monti Sibillini mountain range.

The settlement was founded during the 5th or 6th century by refugees from Ascoli who sought safety from barbaric incursions. Today, it remains a historic site defined by its geographical position and its origins as a refuge for displaced populations.
