Cingoli is a town and comune located in the Marches region of Italy, within the province of Macerata. It is situated approximately 27 kilometres (17 mi) by road from the town of Macerata.
The municipality is notable for being the birthplace of Pope Pius VIII. Additionally, Cingoli has been recognized as one of the "Borghi più belli d'Italia," a designation highlighting its status as one of the most beautiful villages in the country.
