Castelsantangelo sul Nera is a comune, or municipality, situated in the Marche region of central Italy. It is located within the Province of Macerata, approximately 90 kilometres southwest of Ancona and about 50 kilometres southwest of Macerata.
The municipality is geographically significant as it contains the source of the Nera River. The area serves as a local administrative center within the Italian countryside.
