Zanica is a comune located in the Province of Bergamo within the Lombardy region of Italy. The municipality has a population of approximately 8,804 inhabitants and is situated roughly 7 kilometres (4 mi) south of Bergamo and about 45 kilometres (28 mi) northeast of Milan.
The town shares borders with several neighboring municipalities, including Azzano San Paolo, Cavernago, Comun Nuovo, Grassobbio, Orio al Serio, Stezzano, and Urgnano.
