Veleso is a comune located in the Province of Como within the Lombardy region of northern Italy. It is situated approximately 12 kilometres (7 mi) northeast of the city of Como and about 50 kilometres (31 mi) north of Milan.
As of December 31, 2004, the municipality encompassed an area of 5.9 square kilometres (2.3 mi2) with a population of 275 residents.
