Vailate is a comune, or municipality, located in the Province of Cremona within the Lombardy region of northern Italy. It is situated approximately 35 kilometres east of Milan and about 50 kilometres northwest of the city of Cremona.
As of December 31, 2004, the municipality covered an area of 9.8 square kilometres and had a recorded population of 4,299 residents.
