Traona is a comune located in the Province of Sondrio within the Lombardy region of northern Italy. It is situated approximately 80 kilometres northeast of Milan and about 25 kilometres west of the city of Sondrio.
As of December 31, 2004, the municipality covered an area of 6.2 square kilometres and had a recorded population of 2,314 residents.
