Taceno is a comune, or municipality, situated in northern Italy within the region of Lombardy. It is located in the Province of Lecco, positioned approximately 20 kilometres north of the city of Lecco and about 60 kilometres north of Milan.
The municipality serves as a local administrative division characterized by its geographical placement in the Italian alpine foothills. It remains one of the constituent towns within the Lecco province.
