San Giacomo delle Segnate is a comune located in the Province of Mantua within the Lombardy region of Italy. It is situated approximately 160 kilometres southeast of Milan and about 30 kilometres southeast of Mantua.
The municipality is characterized as a small rural settlement in the lower Mantuan plain, specifically within the Oltrepò mantovano area. It lies in the reclaimed lowlands on the right bank of the Secchia river, positioned near the border with both the Province of Modena and the Emilia-Romagna region.
