San Bassano is a comune, or municipality, situated in the Province of Cremona within the Lombardy region of northern Italy. It is located approximately 60 kilometres southeast of Milan and about 20 kilometres northwest of the city of Cremona.
The town serves as a local administrative center in the Lombardy region, positioned within the geographical corridor between these two major Italian cities.
