Romano di Lombardia is a comune located in the Province of Bergamo within the northern Italian region of Lombardy. It is situated approximately 45 kilometres east of Milan and about 20 kilometres southeast of Bergamo.
The municipality received the honorary title of city via a presidential decree issued on September 17, 1962.
