Premana is a comune located in the Province of Lecco within the Lombardy region of northern Italy. It is situated approximately 70 kilometres northeast of Milan and about 20 kilometres north of Lecco. As of December 31, 2004, the municipality covered an area of 33.7 square kilometres with a population of 2,285 residents.
The town is characterized by a long-standing industrial tradition in iron and steel working. It serves as a production center for scissors and various other cutting utensils. Notably, it is the site where safety razors from the traditional Italian brand Fatip have been handcrafted since the 1980s.
