Portalbera is a comune, or municipality, located in the Province of Pavia within the Italian region of Lombardy. It is situated approximately 40 km southeast of Milan and about 15 km southeast of the city of Pavia.
As of December 31, 2004, the municipality covered an area of 4.7 square kilometers (1.8 square miles) and had a recorded population of 1,434 residents.
