Pontida is a comune located in the Province of Bergamo within the Lombardy region of northern Italy. It is situated approximately 40 kilometres northeast of Milan and about 13 kilometres northwest of Bergamo.
As of December 31, 2004, the municipality encompassed an area of 10.1 square kilometres and had a recorded population of 3,112 residents.
