Pioltello is a comune, or municipality, situated in the Lombardy region of northern Italy. It is part of the Metropolitan City of Milan and is located approximately 7 kilometres (4 miles) northeast of the city of Milan.
The town serves as a local administrative center within the metropolitan area, positioned in close proximity to one of Italy's major urban hubs.
