Marnate is a comune, or municipality, located in the Province of Varese within the Lombardy region of northern Italy. It is situated approximately 30 km northwest of Milan and about 20 km south of the city of Varese.
The municipality covers an area of 4.8 km2. As of December 31, 2018, Marnate had a recorded population of 7,936 residents.
