Mapello is a comune, or municipality, located in the Province of Bergamo within the Italian region of Lombardy. It is situated approximately 40 kilometres northeast of Milan and about 9 kilometres west of the city of Bergamo.
As of December 31, 2004, the municipality covered an area of 8.5 square kilometres and had a population of 5,806 residents.
