Lomazzo is a town and comune located in the province of Como within the Lombardy region of Italy. It is situated halfway between the cities of Como and Milan. The municipality borders several other areas, including Bregnano, Cadorago, Cirimido, Guanzate, Rovellasca, Rovello Porro, and Turate.
The ancient historical center of Lomazzo was established on a hilltop in a valley on the right bank of the Lura river. A significant portion of the municipal territory encompasses the Lura Park. On July 11, 2006, the town officially received the title of Città (City) via a presidential decree.
