Gera Lario is a comune, or municipality, located in the Province of Como within the Lombardy region of northern Italy. It is situated approximately 80 kilometres (50 mi) north of Milan and about 45 kilometres (28 mi) northeast of the city of Como.
As of December 31, 2004, the municipality encompassed an area of 6.7 km2 (2.6 sq mi) with a recorded population of 942 residents.
