Ferno is a comune located in the Province of Varese within the Lombardy region of northern Italy. It is situated approximately 40 km northwest of Milan and about 35 km south of the city of Varese.
As of December 31, 2017, the municipality had a population of 6,858 residents. The area covers a total of 8.5 km2.
