Corteolona is a frazione of the municipality of Corteolona e Genzone, located in the Province of Pavia within the Lombardy region of northern Italy. Geographically, it is situated approximately 40 km southeast of Milan and about 15 km east of the city of Pavia.
Historically, Corteolona functioned as an independent comune until 2016, when it was merged into its current administrative structure. It remains a recognized locality within the province, maintaining its identity as part of the larger municipality of Corteolona e Genzone.
