Comerio is a comune located in the Province of Varese within the Lombardy region of northern Italy. It is situated approximately 8 km (5.0 mi) west of the city of Varese and about 50 km (31 mi) northwest of Milan.
As of December 31, 2004, the municipality covered an area of 5.6 km2 (2.2 sq mi) with a recorded population of 2,549 residents.
