Codogno is a town and comune located in the province of Lodi within the Lombardy region of northern Italy. It serves as the primary center for the Basso Lodigiano plain, an area with a population of approximately 90,000 inhabitants.
The municipality has a population of 15,868 residents. On June 26, 1955, Codogno was officially granted the honorary title of city by presidential decree.
