Castel Goffredo is a comune located in the province of Mantua within the Lombardy region of northern Italy. It is situated approximately 35 kilometres from the city of Mantua and lies a short distance from Brescia.
The municipality is positioned in a region characterized by natural springs at the foot of slopes that drain into Lake Garda, moving toward the plain of the Po. It shares borders with several neighboring municipalities, including Castiglione delle Stiviere, Medole, Ceresara, Casaloldo, Asola, Acquafredda, and Carpenedolo.
