Casalmaggiore is a comune located in the province of Cremona within the Lombardy region of northern Italy. The town is situated along the banks of the Po River.
The municipality is notable as the birthplace of Italian composers Ignazio Donati and Andrea Zani. Additionally, it is home to the women's volleyball team Volleyball Casalmaggiore, which competed in the Serie A1 and won the championship during the 2014–15 season.
