Carugate is a comune located in the Lombardy region of northern Italy. It is situated within the Metropolitan City of Milan, positioned approximately 15 kilometres (9 mi) to the northeast of Milan.
The municipality shares borders with several neighboring towns, including Agrate Brianza, Caponago, Brugherio, Pessano con Bornago, Bussero, and Cernusco sul Naviglio.
