Carimate is a comune located in the Province of Como within the Lombardy region of northern Italy. It is situated approximately 13 kilometres south of the city of Como and about 25 kilometres north of Milan.
The municipality covers an area of 5.2 square kilometres. As of September 9, 2025, Carimate had a recorded population of 4,366 residents.
