Carenno is a comune, or municipality, located in the Province of Lecco within the Lombardy region of northern Italy. It is situated approximately 45 kilometres northeast of Milan and about 8 kilometres southeast of the city of Lecco.
As of December 31, 2004, the municipality covered an area of 7.9 square kilometres and had a recorded population of 1,476 residents.
