Brugherio is a comune located in the Province of Monza and Brianza within the Lombardy region of Italy. It is situated approximately 10 kilometres northeast of Milan.
The municipality was established on December 9, 1866. Its formation resulted from the unification of the suppressed municipalities of Baraggia, San Damiano, and Moncucco, along with the villages of Bindellera, Cesena, Gelosa, San Paolo, Torazza, Occhiate, and Increa.
