Brinzio is a comune, or municipality, located in the Province of Varese within the Lombardy region of northern Italy. It is situated approximately 8 kilometres (5 miles) northwest of the city of Varese and about 60 kilometres (37 miles) northwest of Milan.
The municipality covers a total area of 6.4 square kilometres (2.5 square miles). As of December 31, 2004, Brinzio had a recorded population of 862 residents.
