Bertonico is a comune, or municipality, situated in the Province of Lodi within the Lombardy region of northern Italy. It is located approximately 45 kilometres (28 miles) southeast of Milan and about 15 kilometres (9 miles) southeast of the city of Lodi.
As a local administrative division, Bertonico serves as a residential and municipal center in the Lombardy countryside. The area is defined by its proximity to major regional hubs, including the metropolitan influence of Milan.
